Sims 2007 Annual Dinner: A Glittering Occasion

Sims held its annual dinner on 28th February 2008. The event occupied some 17 tables in the ballroom of the Eaton Hotel Hong Kong.
To kick off the event, Mr. Chu Hon Fai, Dupty Chairman of Dah Chong Hong Holdings, and Mr. Glenn Smith, Chief Executive of Sims, both gave opening speeches. In his address, Mr. Smith offered his thanks to every member of the company for their hard work in achieving the outstanding performance in year 2008. He also expressed his hopes that 2008 will be another year of remarkable achievement.
The theme of the dinner was "A Shiny Night", with everyone in attendance encouraged to wear clothes in shiny colours such as gold, silver abd red. During the event, a group of judges awarded cash prizes to the three staff members in the most outstanding costumes. Mr. Smith also received his 30-year long-service award, as well as the heartfelt applause of all colleagues.
A highlight of the evening was a special opera performed by the 20 Sims personnel previously selected to participate in a 3-month interactive drama workshop. This thrilling performance was an inspirational showcase of teamwork and creativity, and a great example of Sims' corporate culture in action. True to tradition, the dinner climaxed with an exciting lucky draw, ensuring a joyful and highly memorable night for everyone!
